I Am Leaving
These battles
This war
All my life I bring sadness; despair
My friends are suffering; wounded
My fiancé; tired
Me; confused but determined
This is my battle, my war
And my friends are battling for me
I can't let them do this
They can end up dead
So in order to do right-- I am leaving
So then they won't have to suffer for my so-called sins.
My love, I know this may be hard,
But I must do a selfless act
With me gone from here the war would end
So goodbye...
Because I am leaving

A Melody from a Box
A dance comes alive
A romance never dies
Dreams from my soul still sing to me
Dreams never die

Nobles still dress in frocks so gay
Their chatter plays in my head
About balls once ago and plays
Plays that tell stories untold

The tune, the notes, a musical tone
Where each foot steps to to and fro
This image that I see
Come to me from a box
The song sings to me from a box
A melody from a box

A Desire That Was Long Ago
Without it is raining
Within it is pouring
In within my deep heart
It beats slowly for a missing part
Of a memory I once had
From the dream of Queen Mab
That was long ago

It was full of desires
That to me was dire
For it offers pleasure and forgetfulness
That made me wept with sadness
Of a death
Of a horrifying death
That was long ago

This death took from me
Someone that was to be
My one true love
Who was always above
For he took care of me by and by
Until the day he died
That was long ago

I was devoted
He was devoted
To this love we had
That always made us glad
For we were together
Always together
But that was long ago
